Hi,
my Thunderbird warned me that the link to confirm my account is not what is shown in the email text: https://discourse.acados.org/u/activate-account/XYZ (link display) vs. http://xgotj.mjt.lu/lnk/ABC/XYZ (actual link).
This seems a bit scary, especially since the actual link url sound really suspicious.
I went with copying the displayed link manually in my browser and that worked (I am here )
So I really wonder, what that other link would have done.
Hi,
thanks for the feedback.
The site http://xgotj.mjt.lu says the following:
This sub-domain is used for link redirection and static content hosting.
Mailjet is a real-time Cloud Emailing platform: it is used by thousands of customers for their transactional messages, as well as their newsletters.
I think it is less sketchy than the URL looks. There might be some mailjet setting to turn off this link redirection, but I didn’t find it right away.
